My name is Melissa , you may call me: Mia, Mel, Lissa or any other variation just not Missy. I am here to blog away about my journey of weight loss. Since I started the beginning of January of this year the most weight I have been was 225 pounds. Since starting a program with my doctor’s office I was put on a 1,000 calorie a day diet and a menu that consisted of complex carbohydrates, fresh fruit, vegetables and lean meats (venison being my favorite). I do a lot of light working out like walking, yoga and Pilates. I have to say that 2014 was not my fondest but recently since I started my program I went from 225.5 now to a 183. I am still going. So here is to fun recipes and talking about how I am getting fit so you can too. I am not a nutritionist, always consult your physician before starting any weight loss program.
